VARIMETRIX Modeling is a parametric 3D solids and surface modeler. The unique VX Unified Parametric Geometry (UPG) engine integrates solid, surface, and wireframe geometry with a single user interface, database, and parametric strategy. Controlled associativity ensures that design changes are reflected in all models, drawings, and NC tool paths. VX also supports unlimited Undo and Redo. The flexible nature of the product make it an ideal modeling solution for manufacturing environments.

VX/NCL combines the awesome modeling and data translation capability of VARIMETRIX with the powerful tool path generation capabilities of NCL in a fully integrated package. Models originating in VX are immediately available for multi-axis machining in NCL. And of course the models and tool paths are fully associative. A change to the VX model results in a change to NCL generated tool paths. Never before has such a powerful combination of modeling and manufacturing been available in a single package. VX/NCL runs on SGI, SUN, and HP workstations.
