In Pursuit of Excellence

Most recently, Ralee Engineering received such commendations as the "Supplies Excellence Award" from Airbus, "Small Business of the Year" and the "Supplier Excellence" awards from Boeing, and the "Supplier Excellence Award" from the U.S. Government Small Business Administration. Known industry wide for its capabilities in machining long structural components, Ralee uses the NCL 5-axis CAM system provided by NCCS as their in-house programming solution.

Ralee's primary product line consists of Stringers, Spars, Longerons, Beams, Planks, Webs, and Ribs in both detail and sub-assembly fabrication.

"NCL is one of the best software packages available today for part programming complicated aerospace components", says Steve LaPlante. Some recent jobs include the manufacture of such parts as the C17 tiedown and the Cessna Spar shown below.

Many of the NCL features including its family of parts and macro capability are used from start to finish. Each job

begins with running the part through the IGES translator, along with the CAM module for part programming.
Once the part is programmed, IPV (In-Process-Verification) is used to verify the part and finished with PostWorks for the machine punch file.
