More Power Brings Quality Parts

Vought's history of professional experience and extensive line of sophisticated equipment, including the latest 5-axis equipment using the NCL part programming system by NCCS, provides advanced capabilities in producing the finest products in today's demanding marketplace. They are committed to achieving and maintaining a reputation for world-class quality, unmatched performance and serving their customers.

Vought Aircraft manufactures some of the largest, complex airframe parts. Specifically, its Hawthorne facility fabricates and assembles large fuselage panels for the Boeing Aircraft.

For example, the company selected NCL to program parts such as the Boeing 747, including the new 747-8 which will be able to carry up to 500 passengers.

To help ensure quality and efficiency, the site chose NCL for their programming solution. "We benefit from NCL's family of parts capability. Using associativity, the part can be parametrically driven by a table of variables."
"This feature gives us a quicker way to program similar parts such as the large skins that make up the fuselage for the left and right hand side", states Pete Hines.
